Happy Easter!! + Good & Bad News Happy Easter!! + Good & Bad NewsHello, everyone! Hope you had a nice Easter (if you celebrate it… personally, I’m not Christian)!! Or an otherwise nice day. I’ve personally been very upbeat lately which is why I wanted to blog today! :)
As usual, my dad took me out on a big motorcycle ride today! I had such a fun time. He took me to the beach where I hung out with him and watched some birds. He also took me to my favorite cafe for a little latte (SUGAR FREE HAZELNUT SUPREMACYYYY) which I loved very much!
Easter aside, I have some good news and also some bad news. Just to get the bad news out of the way; someone who I thought was my friend randomly cut me off for no reason! I don’t really feel like going into detail for privacy reasons and also because I don’t want to bring up any bad feelings again. As for the good news...
I have been getting back into art again, babyyyy! I felt so inspired by my dear friends to start drawing again. I also wanted to start drawing again because I know how important it is to create human-made art (no matter your skill level!!) in a world that’s increasingly being flooded with hyper-polished, soulless, AI generated slop. I think it is so, so important to keep on creating! That is why I wanted to start making art again even if mine is technically classified as “bad art”.
I love that it is made by me-a human being with a soul and feelings-as opposed to a computer algorithm.
As for the actual art, I started with some comfort art of William and my self insert, Catherine!! I then went on to make a gift for my friends, too. Not only am I very proud of myself, but I am also so happy to have picked up art again!
