Today, my dad took me out on his motorcycle! We went to the cute little cafe that he takes me to pretty often!
The food is delicious, but I am mostly hooked on the lattes! Every time we go, I get a sugar free hazelnut latte. They're so delicious and you can't even tell they're sugar free! As for the food, however, I always get a BLT. They’re kind of what I order in any restaurant (... that isn’t an Asian restaurant).
After we finished eating, Dad took me to the beach where we observed birds. I specifically asked him to go because I wanted to take pictures of the birds for my Bird Log. I knew that the baby herons wouldn’t be around much longer and I really wanted to photograph them.
At the beach, my dad joked to me about how he wanted to “sleep like a sea lion”. Yeah, I guess I get where he’s coming from, but I would only want that deep of a sleep on a night before school or work…
Oh! Speaking of which!
I never got a chance to tell you guys since I didn’t have a diary yet, but I am most likely getting another job! I am very happy about this. About two or three weeks ago, I spoke at a panel about my school’s disability services and accommodations. The head of the disability program chose three other students including a close friend and I to speak as student representatives. Long story short, we shared our personal experiences and gave feedback regarding accommodations provided by the school.
Anyways, they liked my performance so much that they offered me a job as a mentor for other disabled students! They even invited me to speak at another panel (sadly over Zoom, but it is what it is). I’m pretty hyped about this. My next interview is this upcoming Tuesday! Thinking about curling my hair for it… And of course I will come well-dressed.
More money for Asian fashion and husband commissions!
The rest of my day was honestly pretty boring. I have Library Research homework to do, too, so later!
