Colorful, feathery, and sweet, Butter has been my greatest companion since late 2016. I can’t even begin to describe the profound impact she has made in my life. I have spent every day since playing with her, giving her cuddles, and chatting up storms with her. Throughout our now-seven years together, there has not been a single second of boredom in my life!
There is almost nothing I love to do more than spend time with her–seriously. The very first thing I do whenever I come home from school or work is open up the cage and give her cuddles (she especially loves to nuzzle my cheek). Within seconds, any stress from the day prior instantly leaves my body. She’ll always press little kisses to my cheek, snuggle up, and many times even fall asleep on me. She’s just the most affectionate little thing and her presence is so therapeutic!
One of my favorite things to do with her is play fetch. Seriously, she’s just like a little dog! Whenever I throw one of her little balls out to her, she’ll charge across the table, grab it, and throw it right back to me. Minutes into each game, I’m laughing my ass off with amusement!
