I have loved slashers and horror since I was a little kid. My dad played all of the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies for us! While the movies genuinely spooked me, I felt such an indescribable thrill and wonder! I was still at that magical “what if” age. I won’t lie, the dream guy kept me up at night sometimes, but it was such a cool experience. I was genuinely obsessed with Freddy Krueger and had a crush on him for a very long time. He was my gateway drug.. XD As you know, though, I’m much more of a Jason girlie these days. Still love Freddy, though.
While I was in Japan, I arranged a one-on-one dinner, meet and greet, and performance session with a real Tokyo geisha! I had such an amazing time with her. She also ordered the same drink as me to match haha. While she performed, she was so beautiful and gracious. I can tell that she had been training for years (according to her, over two decades!) and felt so much passion for her career. We also discussed our lives and bonded over similar struggles-especially familial losses. I felt so much love and admiration for her; I told her that I want to see her again. She said that she feels the same way and looks forward to meeting me again! Ever since this experience, I have come to love and appreciate geisha so much. <3
I messaged the aforementioned geisha group’s instagram. They wrote back to me telling me that they can’t wait to see me again and that they loved my message. :)
My parrot turns ten years old in 2026! I have had her since I was a teen and she is so special to me-my best friend and the love of my life.
I am solely convinced that dolphins are my spirit animal. They have held much significance in my life and they are very important. When my dad and I sit on a rock by the sea, we see dolphins. When we throw roses into the ocean to honor my mother’s life, we see dolphins jumping and frolicking before us. They are quite rare where we live, too. They have been a common motif in other areas, too (like random mentions of dolphins in music recommended to me, etc). I think it’s pretty cool. :)
My photos!!
My “fursona” Cordelia is actually a dolphin, too! She is a ganguro dolphin. (At the time of writing this, I still really need to get around to setting up her page.)
I used to be a real theatre kid in middle school and high school! I kind of fell out of it because I struggled so much with lines.
I got stung by a hornet three times in a row!! I was swimming underwater-watching some fish with my goggles. Everything was fine until I climbed onto my dad’s jet ski. As he drove away, I felt a horrible burning, stinging pain around my stomach. My dad came to a stop and I reached into a swimsuit and pulled the thing out!! I cried a bunch and we left right after lol.
Writing is the only subject I’ve ever been good at. I’m something of a savant-literally.
